STM32 DAC Deep Dive Tutorials
This page brings together all the tutorials in the STM32 DAC Deep Dive series. The DAC allows a microcontroller to turn a digital value into a real analog voltage, which makes it useful for programmable reference voltages, sensor simulation, and waveform generation. This series goes deep into the peripheral and explains how it works, so that you can control the output with confidence instead of only copying a working example.
Starting from the basic configuration in STM32CubeMX and the first output voltage measured with a multimeter, the series moves on to the voltage calculation, the resolution, and the output control. It then covers the trigger options, the generation of different waveforms, custom reference voltages, and the Sample and Hold mode. All the tutorials use the same project on the STM32H755ZI Nucleo board and the HAL library, so you can follow them in order and build on the same code from one tutorial to the next.
